Secure multi-party computation (also known as multi-party computation (MPC), or privacy-preserving computation) is a subfield of cryptography with the goal of creating methods for parties to jointly compute a function over their inputs while keeping those inputs private. It can be applied in quite a number of scenarios where security and shared governance are needed. In IOTA ecosystem, MPC platform will be used in bridging, custody, oracle and more utilities have yet to be unlocked.
